Our story began in 2014, when founder George Monkhouse started a low-cost acupuncture clinic in partnership with ZenYoga in Camberwell, south London. Inspired by traditional Chinese multibed settings, he offered multiple treatments per hour in a calming, shared space.
Our Mission
We believe natural, effective healthcare should be inclusive, accessible and affordable, without compromising on quality or care.
We sit in the gap between the NHS and private healthcare, using acupuncture and Chinese medicine to support physical and emotional health. What makes us different is how we deliver treatment, allowing us to help more people without losing the personal care every patient deserves.
Every patient receives individual attention and leaves with more than treatment: practical self-care, diet and lifestyle advice, movement where appropriate, and centuries-old wisdom from Chinese medicine. A pill may mask symptoms for a while. Understanding your body and taking charge of your health can change how you feel for the long term.

Why Treating People Together Works
Multi-bed clinics have been the standard practise across much of East Asia for generations. Here’s why it works. Needles usually need 20 to 45 minutes to do their job, and while you rest, a practitioner can treat several people in the same room. That’s what makes this level of care far more affordable.
Something else happens in that room too. In Chinese medicine, Qi (energy) is believed to move differently when people are treated together, and many patients say the experience feels more powerful, whether that’s the Qi, the shared atmosphere, or simply not sitting alone with your thoughts.
Acupuncture works best as a course of treatment, and regular sessions matter. The multi-bed model makes that realistic. Health problems can be isolating, so we treat people together. People heal alongside others going through their own version of the same thing. For many patients, that sense of shared experience is the part they never expected to need.
